English Descriptive Paper marks will be reckoned for merit listing. It will only be evaluated for those candidates who qualify in the Objective type of tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.
There will be negative marking for wrong answer in the ECGC PO Online Test. 1/4th mark or 0.25 will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Cut-off Score (Online Examination) :
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of ECGC PO Online Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.
INTERVIEW :
Candidates who have been short listed in the ECGC PO Online Examination will subsequently be called for an interview to be conducted by the Company at select Centre(s). The total marks allotted for interview are 60. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/ PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of ECGC PO Online Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
The combined final score of the candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the ECGC PO Online Examination and Interview.
A candidate should qualify both in the ECGC PO Online Examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for further selection process. |
